Ranking Rules
Ranked by players, not paychecks. Last edited August 31, 2026 at 1:33 PM CDT.
1. Rank is never for sale
TopFive does not sell placement, boosts, “featured rank,” or guaranteed position on Server Rankings. Paid Sponsors are labeled as paid placement and do not change vote totals, player counts, or rank order.
Anyone offering to sell you votes, accounts, or a higher slot on this site is not working with us. Report it.
2. How rankings work
- Default sort is community votes (all-time), then live players, then uptime.
- You may also sort by players, uptime, or newest.
- Player counts and online status come from public Cfx.re / CFX data. We do not invent population.
- “Hot right now” is most votes in the last 24 hours. That is not the same as all-time rank.
3. Voting
- One vote per account, per listing, every 24 hours.
- We also rate-limit by IP and related signals to slow multi-account and VPN abuse.
- Votes from the Discord bot follow the same cooldown as votes on the website.
- We may delay, ignore, flag, or remove votes that look automated, sold, incentivized in a deceptive way, or tied to stolen/banned accounts.
- Buying, selling, or farming votes is forbidden. Listings that benefit from it can be pulled.
4. What gets a listing pulled or locked
We can hide, unapprove, or delete a listing, and suspend the owner account, when we reasonably believe any of this applies:
- Fake or cloned join code / impersonating another community
- Malware, credential phishing, “free money” scams, or chargeback fraud tied to the listing
- Content that sexualizes minors, or any CSAM — zero tolerance, reported where required
- Doxxing, swatting threats, or targeted harassment coordinated through the listing
- Stolen assets advertised as the server’s own work when we have a valid complaint
- Vote fraud, review fraud, or fake job posts
- Repeated spam, bait-and-switch Discord links, or malware downloads
- The CFX endpoint is gone, private, or has failed checks long enough that the listing is a ghost
- The owner refuses a reasonable claim/verify check after a dispute
- Anything else that violates the Terms of Service or applicable law
We do not have to give a public explanation when doing so would help abusers or expose a reporter.
5. Reviews, jobs, and reports
- Reviews must be about the server. No slurs-as-the-whole-review, no doxxing, no review-for-hire dumps.
- Job posts must be real roles on that listing. No “send crypto to apply.”
- Use Report for policy problems. False reports can get your account limited.
- An open report may show a public Reported mark. That is a notice, not a finding of guilt.
6. Owners
- You are responsible for the join code, Discord invite, store link, and description you publish.
- Verify / Claim when asked. Unverified listings can be deprioritized or removed after a dispute.
- Webhooks you save receive events (votes, reviews, applications, offline alerts). Protect that URL.
7. Badges, games, and extras
- TopFive Verified is a staff mark. It is not for sale and is not automatic.
- FiveM and RedM are the live filters. SixM is listed as unavailable until we turn it on in config.
- Owner tools (copy connect, copy listing URL, vote countdown, last-seen) do not change rank.
- HTML in names, bios, reviews, jobs, or partner text is stripped. That is a safety rule, not a style choice.
8. We are not Cfx.re
TopFive is independent of Cfx.re, Rockstar, Take-Two, and Discord. A listing here is not an official endorsement and does not replace CFX or Discord ToS. If CFX bans a key, we can drop the listing.
